Our pricing model 🔎

This page explains our pricing model on Rejouis ♻️ When we list a new toy for sale on the store, two criteria are taken into account:

  • The condition of the toy
  • Minimum New Reference Price of the model

1. The Condition of the Toy

During the toy verification and disinfection protocol (see Hygiene page), we note any visible minor defects. This check allows us to assign a condition rating to the toy:

Example toy condition

Exemple état du jouet

👉 Never used: We received it sealed in its original box! Like the others, it still goes through our disinfection process 😉

👉 Perfect condition: Like new! There are no micro-scratches or any visible marks to the naked eye.

👉 Very good condition: The silicone parts are still in perfect condition. Other parts may have some micro-scratches, which are invisible when viewed from more than 20 cm away.

👉 Good condition: The silicone parts are still in perfect condition. Other parts of the toy may have slight scratches and/or minor bumps that do not affect the toy's function or its thorough disinfection.

We do not hesitate to refuse to resell toys if we doubt our ability to disinfect them effectively or if the silicone is damaged.

2. The Minimum New Reference Price (MNRP)

We have built a market monitoring system that tracks the price changes of all brands and models we handle at Rejouis.

We identify the lowest price at which each model is sold new among the most popular e-stores. This price is our "Minimum New Reference Price," which serves as a base price for calculating our selling price.

We are aware that some smaller stores might escape our radar. If this is the case for a model, feel free to contact us 👋

Transparency and clarity of toy prices

The selling price is then calculated to always be cheaper than the new price, with a discount ranging from 20% to 40%! 🤝

This model is designed to give you access to the best prices on our range of sustainable toys while ensuring a safe and quality reconditioning service 💖
